1. Notice of accident

When an accident occurs causing loss of life to the insured, please notify CVI immediately via the 24/7 customer service hotline: 1800 9456.

2. Claim file

A claim to pay for motorbike civil liability insurance includes:

  • Claim form ;
  • Insurance certificate (copy);
  • An accident record with confirmation of the agency, local authority or police where the insured person suffered the accident;
  • Certification of treatment by medical authority (discharge paper, treatment slip and related documents related to accident treatment);
  • Death certificate and confirmation of legal inheritance (in case of death).

In case the insured authorizes another person to receive the sum insured, there must be a legal power of attorney.

3. Compensation settlement of CVI

Within 30 (thirty) days from the date of the insured event (except for force majeure), you must send a written notice to CVI, past the time limit on the insured or A legal heir will be denied part or all of the sum insured by CVI.

Within 1 (one) year from the date of the insured event (except for force majeure), you must submit a valid claim to CVI, past the above time limit. The insured person or a legal heir will lose the right to claim payment.

Within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of complete and valid documents, CVI will make compensation to the customer.
