DEFINITION:

Accident/Accidental

Sudden and unforeseen event arising from external, violent and visible causes and occurring during the Policy period, which shall independently of any others, be the sole cause of the resulting Death or Bodily Injury.

Bodily Injury

A specific physical injury caused by and is the first consequence of an Accident with no contribution of any physical impairment existing prior to the inception of this Policy basing on the Doctor’s advice..

Eligible Insured Members

The insured persons attaining the age of 65

INSURANCE COVERAGE:

A - Death and Permanent Disablement

CVI shall, upon receipt and approval of proof, pay to the Insured Member the relevant benefit of the insured events specified below if such Insured sustains Accidental Bodily Injury resulting from an accident in the during the Period of Insurance.

  • Death: 100% of Limit of Indemnity
  • Permanent Disablement: as per the Scale of Compensation issued by CVI

CVI shall, upon receipt and approval of proof, pay to the Insured Member the relevant benefit of the insured events specified below if such Insured sustains Accidental Bodily Injury resulting from an accident in the during the Period of Insurance.

B - Medical Expenses

After the occurrence of any one of the Insured events and the compensation is paid up to 100% of Limit of Indemnity, there shall be no further liability under the Policy in respect of the same Insured Member for Injury sustained thereafter.

Insurance benefits:

The limit better set the Max. Limit USD 50,000 per person only and Medical expense should state Max. 10% of Sum Insured.
