International SOS can assist you in the following cases:
- Global medical support: medical consultation by phone, referral of medical services, collection of medical examination boss, hospitalization, ...
- Global travel assistance: provide travel information, recommend translation, assist in finding lost luggage, ...
In case of inpatient treatment overseas: When you contact to request assistance, International SOS will take care of the hospitalization procedure and guarantee the cost of inpatient treatment for you.
In case of outpatient treatment in foreign countries: You must pay the treatment cost in advance, then when you return to Vietnam, you will request CVI to pay compensation. In this case you can contact International SOS for help finding the right medical facility and physician, to be instructed to obtain a complete claim file.

Request compensation when returning to Vietnam
In addition to the case of medical examination and treatment abroad being guaranteed by International SOS, in other cases, you must collect documents and request CVI to pay insurance compensation in Vietnam. Nam (after returning from a trip).
When you return to Vietnam and need to make insurance payment procedures, please call CVI's 24/7 customer support call center: 1900 9456 for instructions. procedure.
International travel insurance claim documents include:
- Insurance claim form;
- Certificate of Insurance (Notarized copy or original);
- Medical documents include: Medical examination book/medical note, orders/results of imaging, tests, prescriptions…; all ticket receipts (Original)
- Financial documents (original required) include: Receipt of collection, financial invoice (for example: invoice for drug purchase, invoice for testing, scan, ...); li>
- Certificate of total, permanent injury;
- Death certificate (in case of death);
- Certifications of loss of personal baggage, delay of baggage, trip, ...
Note: when there are problems during your trip, you should contact International SOS for consulting procedures as well as paper documents so that when returning to Vietnam, CVI can quickly and simply handle it. The form of overseas documents must comply with the regulations of the host country. All the above documents must be in Vietnamese. If the above documents are not in Vietnamese, the Insured Person must submit a notarized translation or translation certified by the Translation Company, the cost of translation will be borne by the Insured Person.
Processing compensation of CVI
Within 15 working days from the date you provide complete application for insurance payment, CVI will notify you of the compensation settlement plan. If you accept the compensation plan, BIC will make procedures to pay compensation.
